Job Function:
Position will support the Trading desk and daily trading activities as it pertains to the firms daily pipeline hedge strategy which will include trade recommendations, trade execution, trade and p/l reconciliation, variance research, and modeling enhancements.
 
Duties:
--Execution of daily trading activities on the Capital Markets Trading Desk as it pertains to the daily Pipeline Hedge strategy.
--Assist with best execution modeling of specified pool payups and various spreads to ensure accuracy of model output. -Knowledge of trading MBS TBA, MBS specified pools, whole loans, AOT, and futures options
--Process, review, and reconcile daily risk mark to market position reports and recommend daily trading/hedging strategies.
--Direct the pooling of MBS specified pools in both risk and GSE systems including the daily pool allocation and certification process.
-- Process daily trades including trade input and pool allocations  MBS and AOT
--Thorough understand and knowledge of mortgage loan products in both Agency and Non-Agency.
--Best execution analysis and optimization to maximize profitability. -Reviews pricing margin/subsidy making recommended changes. -Fast-paced, dynamic, and fun work environment where attention to detail and passion towards markets will be well rewarded.
 
Requirements:
BA preferred or higher (No degree is required) +4yrs experience in secondary marketing/capital markets preferred (but not required) Previous trading experience preferred (but not required) Independent thinker, fast learner, attention to detail, and a self-starter
 
Ability to work under pressure and commands good judgment Must have excellent communications skills Strong Excel and SQL preferred (but not required)
 
Knowledge of Compass Analytics, Bloomberg, DataTrac is a plus
